GDPR Compliance

1. Our Commitment to GDPR
At InvoiceGenro, we are dedicated to protecting the privacy and security of our users' data. We fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure that the personal data of European Union citizens is handled with the utmost care, transparency, and in accordance with the law.
2. Local Browser Storage Principle
We built InvoiceGenro with a privacy-first methodology. Your document data is strictly stored locally within your own browser's cache. We do not log, transmit, or save the sensitive data you enter (such as client names, operational costs, or personal details) onto our external servers.
3. Data Collection and Processing
We only collect data that is strictly necessary to provide our services:
- Voluntary Contact Information: If you use our contact form, we collect your name and email to respond to inquiries.
- Anonymized Analytics: We utilize analytics (such as Google Analytics) to track non-identifiable usage statistics to improve website performance and user experience.
4. Your Individual Rights
Under the GDPR, you retain comprehensive rights over your personal data, including:
- The Right to Access: Request copies of your personal data.
- The Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate information.
- The Right to Erasure: Also known as "The Right to be Forgotten," allowing you to request the deletion of your personal data.
- The Right to Restrict Processing: Request the limitation of how we process your data.
- The Right to Data Portability: Request the transfer of your data to another organization.
5. Third-Party Data Processors
We strictly vet any third-party tools we use to ensure they are also GDPR-compliant. Services like Google Analytics process data on our behalf, and we ensure standard contractual clauses are in place to safeguard data transfers.
6. Data Breach Protocols
Because your core invoicing data is never sent to our servers, the risk of a breach involving your documents is virtually entirely mitigated. In the highly unlikely event of a breach concerning your contact information, we will notify affected users and relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours.
7. Contact the Data Protection Officer
If you wish to exercise any of your GDPR rights, or if you have questions regarding our data practices and privacy policies, please contact our Data Protection Officer:
